Bio: Coach Ana Rios is an alumnus of DHJ. She graduated in 2008 and continued her education at The University of Texas at Arlington. She graduated in 2013 with a Bachler of Arts in Spanish and went on to pursue her masters too. She received her Masters in Educational Leadership and Policy studies from UTA in 2017.

Coach Rios started her education career at J.P. Elder Middle School. She taught Spanish and led the running club for 4 years. Her passion for running led her to DHJ where she has coached Cross Country and Track. She taught Spanish at DHJ for four years and currently teaches Lifetime Fitness and Wellness. During her coaching years, Coach Rios has led both the boys and girls Cross Country teams to regional and individuals to the state level. She has also led one individual to state in Track. He became the state champion in the 1600 and runner up in the 3200, which made him the first Track medalist and first Track champion in DHJ history.

During her free time, Coach Rios enjoys hiking and traveling with her Husband Juan Carlos, who is also a teacher and her 1yr old Son Maverick.
